Cancellation, Late Arrival & Payment Policy

Effective July 27, 2026

Cancellations require 48 hours' notice. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full session fee, with a documented medical emergency as the only exception.

paUse is a private mobile massage therapy practice. As a mobile service, each appointment represents a reserved time block that includes travel, setup, and preparation time that cannot be recovered once forfeited.

1. Cancellation & Rescheduling Window

All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted no less than 48 hours before the scheduled session start time. Requests may be submitted via text or WhatsApp to the therapist's designated contact number. The 48-hour window begins at the exact scheduled start time of the appointment and counts backward.

2. Late Cancellation Fee

Cancellations or rescheduling requests submitted within 48 hours of the scheduled session will be charged 100% of the full session fee, regardless of the reason, unless an exception is granted under Section 3 below. The patient acknowledges that this fee is reasonable and represents compensation for the therapist's non-recoverable time, travel, and preparation costs.

3. Medical Emergency Exception

A late cancellation fee may be waived, at the sole and exclusive discretion of the therapist, in the event of a documented medical emergency affecting the patient or an immediate family member. Documentation means a written note or official communication from a licensed medical professional confirming the emergency. Personal or scheduling conflicts, work obligations, and non-emergency illness do not qualify for this exception. Requests for exception must be submitted as soon as reasonably possible.

4. No-Show Policy

Failure to be present or ready at the scheduled appointment time without prior notice constitutes a no-show and will be charged 100% of the full session fee. A 10-minute courtesy window is offered upon the therapist's arrival. If the patient is not ready within this window, the session may be forfeited at the therapist's discretion without reduction in fee.

5. Late Start

Sessions delayed due to the patient's unreadiness will not be extended beyond the original scheduled end time. The full session fee applies regardless of the actual treatment time received as a result of a patient-caused late start.

6. Outstanding Balances & Future Bookings

Any outstanding cancellation, no-show, or session fees must be paid in full before a new appointment will be scheduled or confirmed. The Practice reserves the right to decline future bookings until all balances are settled. Payment is accepted via any method offered by paUse at the time of billing.
